Chips are beginning to fly as we walk over to Table 47. With 400,000 already in the pot pre, the big blind checks in the dark to Chris VanDeursen (heads up). The flop runs out K 7 9, and Chris puts out a bet of 115,000. After some tanking the big blinds raises to 300,000, which is 40,000 less than Chris had in front of him. VanDeursen seemed somewhat hesitant at first, but declared himself all-in. The call was a formality, and the hands would be tabled:

The turn was a king and river ace, giving the pot to Chris and putting him over 1,000,000 for the first time today.
