Level 5 - Blinds 200/400/50

Players are steadily coming in and out of the clubhouse room, with a few notables that we caught recently:

Big Stax 300 (Day 1C): Second Time A Charm?

Level 5 - Blinds 200/400/50

Mike Dentale had no luck with the first bullet, as posted on Twitter, as Antonio Walker send Mike back to the cage, but since he has been back, he's built up a stack just under 100,000.

Big Stax 300 (Day 1C): Level Up

Level 5 is about to begin, with the blinds increasing to 200/400/50.

Big Stax 300 (Day 1C): Tournament Gallery (Part 1)

Big Stax 300 (Day 1C): Growing Field

Level 4 - Blinds 150/300/50

The field begins to grow as there are now 760 entries, which brings our prize pool north of $215,000.  The trend that we are seeing today is re-entries, and lots of them.  With today being the last chance to enter, players are taking as many shots as needed to put themselves in position to grab a share of the prize.

Big Stax 300 (Day 1C): First Break Of Day

Players are taking their first (15) minute break of the day, and when they return to Level 4, the blinds will be increasing to 150/300/50.

Big Stax 300 (Day 1C): Tough Table Draws

Level 3 - Blinds 100/200/25

Here are some of the tougher table draws in the field so far (and notables missed):

Table 80: Leonardo Palermo, Peter Ippolito, Thomas Carney

Table 84: Brian Cambell, Aaron Frese, Alex Torres

Table 87: Mahn Nguyen, Brian Lemke

Christopher Bourassa
Frank Dire
Joe Spillane
Michael Gonzalez
Gordon Eng

Big Stax 300 (Day 1C): Level Up...Defending Champ Follows Suit

Level 3 has just started, and the blinds will be increasing to 100/200/25.  It hasn't taken long for defending PBS 300 champ Jason Rivkin (Eatontown, NJ) to gain some early traction:

Big Stax 300 (Day 1C): North Of The Border And Back

Level 2 - 75/150

Mike Dentale (Brooklyn, NY) heads into the clubhouse room for the first time this series, and first time since finishing 4th in the Big Stax 1,500 in February.  Dentale cashed for just under $55,000, and has since concentrated on the bigger buy-in events on the circuit.  From the WPT Seminole Hard Rock to WPT Montreal, he's had no shortage of frequent flyer miles.

Dentale is no stranger to cashes or deep runs, and hope to better his final table performance from months ago.

Big Stax 300 (Day 1C): Level 2 Winding Down...Familiar Faces

Level 2 - Blinds 75/150

There are tons of familiar faces in this crowd, some we haven't seen yet, and some that are returning for second (and third) chances to bag chips:

Matthew Burnitz
Kim Edmonds
Amanda Musumeci
Ross Gottleib
Eileen Kustafik
Paul Spitzberg
Brian Lemke
Nancy Martin
Jason Rivkin
Robert Lynch
