Big Stax 1500 (Day 1A): Local Flare

Level 13 - Blinds 1,200/2,400/300

Andre Nyffeler (Mahwah, NJ)

We will always attract pros like Buzgon and Jaffee (as mentioned earlier) with these main events, but we also have players like Andre Nyffeler.  During the WPT Parx Open Poker Classic (2012), Andre won the $1,000 NL Hold'em Bounty event for $24,065.  He then parlayed that into a spot on the televised WPT final table, adding $61,619 to that two week run, being the first player eliminated that night (6th).

Big Stax 1500 (Day 1A): Player Profiles

Level 13 - Blinds 1,200/2,400/300

With the smaller sized field today, there is a really laid back feel in the clubhouse room.  A lot a chatting, a lot of joking, and some really notable names mixing it up with the local grinders.

Dan Buzgon: Dan has over $1,000,000 in career tournaments earnings, most notably the WPT Borgata Fall Open (televised final table).  Dan finished 3rd for $335,000, and since has gone on to make another WPT final table, and cash in numerous major events across the country.

Jared Jaffee: Jaffee is another tournament pro who has over $800,000 in career earnings.  His most notable cash come from the WPT Bolixi in 2010, where he took home $247,000 for his 4th place finish (this is when the WPT were mostly $10,000 buy-ins).

Big Stax 1500 (Day 1A): Break Time

Players are currently on break, and when they return the blinds in Level 13 will be 1,200/2,400/300.

Big Stax 1500 (Day 1A): Photo Ops

Level 12 - Blinds 1,000/2,000/300

With a chance to walk around the clubhouse room, we caught some of our players in action:

Current Chip Leader (400,000) Jared Jaffee (Brooklyn, NY)

Big Stax 1500 (Day 1A): Not Forgotten

Level 12 - Blinds 1,000/2,000/300

With all of the final action going on in the main poker, it was few trips that were made to the clubhouse room.  We are back now though, with 36 players remaining from the 81 entries that started the day.
